Anonymous User System

AnonyLearn is designed with your privacy as the top priority. Here's how we protect your identity:

• No Login Required: The app requires no user accounts, emails, or personal information for login or use.
• Secure Local IDs: On your first visit, a unique, random "Guest ID" and "Device Salt" are generated and stored only on your device (in localStorage).
• One-Way Hashing: Only a one-way SHA-256 hash of your Guest ID and Device Salt is sent to our servers. This allows us to save your progress without ever knowing who you are.
• Data Isolation: Your learning data is tied to the ID stored on your device. Clearing your browser's storage or using a different device will start a new, completely separate anonymous session.
• Automatic Deletion: To further protect your privacy, any anonymous user data is automatically purged from our database if it has not been accessed for 6 months.

Data Reset

If you wish to start over completely, you can clear all of your locally stored data. This action is irreversible and will delete your anonymous ID and all associated progress.
